Understand Your Audio with our Frequency Visualizer

Whether you are an audio engineer, a musician, or just testing your microphone, our audio spectrum analyzer online gives you a deep, technical look into the sound waves your hardware captures. Upgraded with next-gen radial patterns and peak monitoring.

Peak Hold & Dominant Freq

Professional audio tools use Peak Hold to show the maximum level a frequency reached before decaying. This helps in identifying harsh resonant frequencies. We've also included a live Dominant Frequency Detector that calculates the strongest pitch (Hz) currently being captured by your microphone.

Radial Visualizer

Move beyond standard flat bars. Our Radial Audio Visualizer maps frequency data across a 360-degree circular spectrum. Bass frequencies originate from the top, sweeping around to treble at the end, creating a stunning, sci-fi style representation of your voice.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

How do I test my mic's frequency response?

To perform a mic spectrum test, simply activate the tool, set the visualization to "Line Spectrum", and play a frequency sweep (from 20Hz to 20kHz) from another speaker. You will visually see which low or high frequencies your microphone struggles to pick up.

What does the Smoothing control do?

The smoothness slider adjusts the smoothingTimeConstant of the Web Audio API. Setting it to a higher percentage makes the visualizer fall slower, making it easier to read average levels. Setting it low makes the visualizer extremely snappy and reactive to instant transients like drum hits.

Is my audio data recorded or saved?

No. This is a real time audio analyzer that processes the audio stream purely for visual output within your browser's local memory. Absolutely no audio data is recorded, saved, or uploaded.
